In an effort to bolster their defense, Swansea City has set its sights on Michael Ciani. With Norwich City securing the signing of Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo, the Lazio Rome center-back could potentially make a move to England.
Local press reports suggest that negotiations could be finalized on the final day of the winter transfer window. Under contract until June 2015 with Lazio, the former Bordeaux player may see his future in the Premier League.
Despite making 17 Serie A appearances this season and scoring a goal against AC Milan last October, Ciani has reportedly failed to impress Lazio manager Edy Reja.
