Al-Ahly of Egypt has requested a postponement of the African Super Cup final scheduled for Saturday, February 22. The club has asked the organizing committee to reschedule the match for 24 hours later, on Sunday, to allow more fans to follow the final.
This request comes after CAF announced the original date for the match as February 22. The response from CAF regarding Al-Ahly’s request is awaited.
In the final, Al-Ahly will face Club Sportif Sfaxien of Tunisia for the African Super Cup.
