Mohamed Sissoko’s struggle to find a new club may have come to an end. Initially linked with a move to Valladolid, the former PSG, Valencia, Liverpool, and Juventus midfielder failed to convince the club’s leaders during the medical examination.
Reportedly, concerns were raised about the condition of his left knee, which has been a source of frequent injury in recent seasons. As a result, negotiations between Sissoko and Valladolid fell through. However, Sissoko has now signed for Levante, as announced on his Twitter account.
He has penned a contract with Levante until the end of the season. This move provides him with a new opportunity to revive his career in the Spanish La Liga, as Levante currently sits in 8th place in the league standings.
