After being sidelined for several weeks due to injury, Aymen Abdennour has rejoined the Toulouse squad. The speedy defender sustained an injury last December shortly after returning from a prolonged absence, following a collision with Guingamp striker Yatabaré.
However, despite his return, the Tunisian international will not be fit enough to travel with the team for their upcoming match against Marseille on Sunday, during the 23rd round of Ligue 1 in France.
Abdennour, who has been voted Toulouse’s best player on multiple occasions, has been sorely missed since his injury. The club, under the guidance of Alain Casanova, has struggled to find stability in defense in his absence.
