Luiz Felipe Scolari is planning to shake things up for Brazil’s first match of 2014 against South Africa, scheduled for March 5 in Johannesburg. The Brazilian coach intends to introduce new faces into the squad.
“We are currently assessing players for the match against South Africa on March 5. I can confirm that there will definitely be some new additions,” he stated during a press conference.
Scolari aims to provide opportunities to players who have not featured in Brazil’s recent fixtures. He will announce the squad list on February 11. This announcement comes as good news for AC Milan’s Kaka, who is determined to be part of Brazil’s 2014 World Cup campaign.
