Mario Balotelli continues to attract attention, both on and off the field. Following his controversial goal celebration during AC Milan’s match against Cagliari, the Ghanaian-origin striker has found himself in yet another negative spotlight after reportedly being involved in a nightclub altercation. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Balotelli was allegedly engaged in a brawl with Francesco Facchinetti, an Italian TV presenter, at the Byblos nightclub in Milan.
Fortunately, the situation did not escalate further, and the altercation was eventually diffused with the intervention of the nightclub’s security personnel.
This is not the first time Balotelli’s behavior has landed him in trouble. Earlier in the season, he received a three-game suspension for his conduct. Despite these disciplinary actions, it seems Balotelli’s penchant for controversy remains unabated, prompting Milan to consider assigning him a personal security detail. Additionally, Balotelli had previously been involved in an incident where he reportedly struck a cameraman.
