Fahid Ben Khalfallah will indeed be playing in Ligue 2, but not for Angers as previously rumored in the press. The Tunisian midfielder, who has been lacking playing time at Bordeaux since 2010, has instead signed with Troyes.
“ESTAC and Bordeaux have reached an agreement for the transfer of Fahid Ben Khalfallah. The player has committed until June 2015,” announced the Ligue 2 club on its official Twitter account this Monday.
Ben Khalfallah, whose contract with Bordeaux expires next June, has only made three appearances this season, all as a substitute, totaling just 19 minutes of playing time in Ligue 1.
