Mohamed Salah bids farewell to Switzerland as he embarks on a new chapter in England with Chelsea. The Egyptian midfielder’s transfer to the London club was announced after Chelsea reached an agreement with FC Basel last Friday, with the signing contingent upon a successful medical examination.
Following the completion of his medical tests on Sunday, Mohamed Salah is now officially a Chelsea player. The winger took to social media to reveal his chosen jersey number, opting for the number 15 with the iconic blue Chelsea kit. Salah becomes Chelsea’s second acquisition this winter, following the arrival of Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic.
Simultaneously, Chelsea bid farewell to Juan Mata, who departed for Manchester United in a separate transfer deal.
