Rodgers Kola will not finish the season with Gantoise, as officially announced by the Belgian club on its website. The 24-year-old Zambian player is set to join the Israeli championship by signing with Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona, a team he is familiar with, having played for them in 2009 and 2012. Israel marks his first destination in Europe.
In addition to Rodgers Kola, two other players have left Ghent. Yassine El Ghanassy is on loan to the Al Ain club in the United Arab Emirates until the end of the season, with a purchase option. Meanwhile, Ghent and Pablo Cendros have mutually agreed to end their collaboration. The 26-year-old Spanish defender, who had been with Ghent since August 2012, is expected to continue his career at Alcorcon, a Spanish D2 club recently taken over by Roland Duchâtelet.
