The CAF (Confederation of African Football) will conduct the draws for the U17 and U20 CANs on December 9 at the organization’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. This announcement comes after the conclusion of the first legs of the final round of the Under-17 CAN played last weekend.
The eight countries that will participate in the final phase of the Under-17 CAN in Morocco next year have already been determined since the end of last month. The tournament is scheduled to take place from March 16 to 30. Additionally, the junior CAN is set to occur from April 13 to 27 in Algeria.
CAF has also clarified that the semi-finalists of both events will directly qualify for the 2013 World Cups in their respective categories.
