Udinese failed to capitalize on their home advantage against Lazio in Serie A this Sunday during the 20th matchday of the Italian championship. Despite holding the lead twice during the game, the Friuli club succumbed to a 2-3 defeat.
Antonio Di Natale opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a penalty, giving Udinese the lead at halftime. However, upon resumption, Candreva, also from the penalty spot, leveled the score. Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu then scored a splendid goal to put Udinese back in front.
Unfortunately for Udinese, Lazarri scored an own goal, reigniting Lazio’s hopes, and the Brazilian Hernanes added a third goal to secure victory for Lazio.
