Taha, under the guidance of Mohamed Sadek, swept aside their counterparts Kima Aswan, led by Emad Samir, with a convincing 3-0 victory.
The match between Alumnum, led by Hisham Abdel-Moneim, and Assiut Cement, led by Yosu Gonzales, ended in a one-all draw.
A goalless draw marked the match between Malawi, led by Mahmoud Farghaly, and Luxor, led by Mohamed Aweis.
Moving to Group “B” of Upper Egypt, Tersana, managed by Hussein Shukry, clinched a 3-0 victory over Bani Mazar, led by Ahmed Abdelbadea.
Tameya, under the leadership of Ramadan Ragab, secured a 3-1 victory over Al Wasatya, led by Mostafa Farouk. Similarly, Telephones of Beni Suef, coached by Fouad Salama, emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Stars of Egypt, led by Essam Eid.
The match between Minya, led by Barakat Ibrahim, and Fayoum, led by Said Subhi, ended in a one-all draw.
