Eden Hazard, who has been the subject of transfer rumors linking him to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in recent weeks, addressed the speculation on the Téléfoot show this Sunday. The Belgian international, now an integral part of Chelsea, dismissed any notions of leaving England.
“For four years, at each transfer window, people have said that I am going to go to this or that club,” explained Hazard. “People often talk about me in Paris because now Paris has possibilities and money. Paris is a big club, we must not hide it. But I’m at Chelsea, I play all the time and I like it here. There is no chance of me leaving this winter. But even this summer, on my own, I don’t want to leave. I’m happy here, and I think it’s the best place to progress further.”
In contrast, PSG’s pursuit of Miralem Pjanic seems uncertain, as the Bosnian has also dismissed any potential departure to the French capital. PSG President Nasser El-Khelaïfi acknowledged Pjanic’s quality, stating, “Pjanic is a good player, an excellent player. But I don’t have the impression that AS Roma is willing to sell him this winter. Most major European clubs want Pjanic today. But I respect AS Roma, and I can understand that they do not give up their best players at the start of the season.”
