Ruud Krol has been officially named as the coach of Esperance Sportive de Tunis. The Dutch technician replaces Sebastien Desarbre, and his appointment had been the subject of much speculation. Ruud Krol, who recently led CS Sfaxien to victory in the Confederation Cup, was reportedly in high demand in the Maghreb, with rumors linking him to the head coach position of the Moroccan national team and the Raja of Casablanca. Krol was present in the stands of the Rades stadium for the announcement.
