The Nigerian Football Federation is raising concerns about the age of certain Malian players following the victory of the Flying Eagles over Mali during the first phase of the CAF U-17 Cup of Nations qualifiers. Chris Green, a member of the executive committee of the Nigerian Football Federation, stated that they would file a complaint with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding the age of some Malian players, alleging fraud. The return match is set to take place in two weeks in Bamako, and Nigeria is currently in a favorable position to qualify for the final phase of the competition in Morocco in 2013.
