The 2023 African Games kick off today, Friday, in Ghana, running from March 8th to the 23rd, in the city of Accra, marking the thirteenth edition of the championship.
The Egyptian Olympic Committee has chosen Egyptian wrestler Abdellatif Manyaa to carry Egypt’s flag at the opening ceremony of the African Games in Ghana.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place today, Friday, at 8:00 PM Ghana time.
The African Games are held every four years, with 50 countries participating in the event, represented by over 5,000 athletes competing in 30 different sports.
Egypt is participating in the 2023 African Games in Accra with a delegation consisting of 262 athletes, including 163 male and 99 female athletes competing in 21 different sports.
