Amine Messalouk, the vice president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) and in charge of managing the professional league, spoke about the scheduling of upcoming matches during the month of Ramadan.
In an interview with the national radio station on Friday, Messalouk stated, “We have finalized the scheduling of matches planned for the month of Ramadan, where we have considered the special nature of this month in determining the timing of these matches.”
He further explained, “We have scheduled most of the matches set for Ramadan to kick off at 10:00 PM, prioritizing the health of the players, except for two matches due to the lack of lighting at two stadiums.”
Messalouk continued, “We have proposed to two clubs to host matches at different stadiums, in order to schedule their matches at night if they agree to do so, and the choice is open to them.”
