The absence of Moroccan international Nacer Mazraoui from his club Bayern Munich persists due to an injury sustained to his left thigh during a match against Bochum in the 22nd round of the Bundesliga.
According to the German newspaper “Kicker,” Mazraoui will not be able to return to the field for at least a month from now.
Currently, he continues with individual treatment under the club doctor, who will determine his return date.
The same source stated that following his significant thigh injury, the player is at risk of missing out on the Moroccan national team’s friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania scheduled for March 22nd and 26th in Agadir.
Mazraoui’s absence poses a significant blow to Bayern, which has struggled with fluctuating performances this season despite securing French player Sacha Boey from Galatasaray during the past winter transfer window.
It is worth noting that despite his inconsistent performances with Bayern this season due to recurrent injuries, Mazraoui continues to attract the interest of some of Europe’s top clubs.
The latest of these is Juventus, which has expressed its desire to acquire the services of the Moroccan defender during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Italian media reports.
