Tunisia had a successful outing at the international women’s boxing tournament, securing five bronze medals. The highlight of the tournament was Tunisian boxer Meriem Homrani being named the best boxer.
The competition, held in Tunisia at the youth city of El Menzah, featured boxers from several countries, including Egypt, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Poland, Finland, Serbia, Morocco, and Algeria. Finland emerged as the overall winning nation, with Tunisia hosting the event.
This tournament served as a preparation platform for participating countries, allowing them to gear up for the upcoming Mediterranean Games in Turkey in 2013. The success of Tunisian boxers in the competition reflects the country’s commitment to and achievements in the sport of boxing.
