Ghana secured a 1-0 victory against Congo in the first match of Pool C at the African Nations Championship. Despite the disappointment for Congo, coach Sebastien Migné expressed his pride in the team’s effort and emphasized the importance of focusing on the next match against Ethiopia. Migné drew inspiration from the example of the last World Cup, highlighting that winning the next match could put them back on track. On the other side, Maxwell Konadu, the coach of Ghana, acknowledged that it wasn’t a bad match and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to showcase young talents in Africa through the competition. He also mentioned that Ghana has ambitious goals and aims to improve their performance from the previous edition.
