Former Al Ahly coach Osama Orabi unveiled In an exclusive interview with Karim Ramzy on the program “Number 10” aired on the first channel the reasons behind his decision to decline an offer to join the coaching staff led by Hossam Hassan for Egypt’s national team.
Orabi disclosed that he received a call from Ibrahim Hassan, the team’s manager, extending an invitation to join the national team’s coaching staff.
Despite acknowledging it as a great honor, Orabi expressed regret for having to decline the offer due to personal circumstances.
“I apologized to Captain Ibrahim Hassan, emphasizing that being part of the national team’s coaching staff is a great honor for me.
However, I have personal commitments that prevent me from joining at this time,” stated Orabi during the interview.
The former Al Ahly coach highlighted his strong relationship with the Hassan brothers, Hossam and Ibrahim, dating back to their time together at the Al Ahly club.
He emphasized that their bond remains robust and intact to this day.
Expressing optimism for Egypt’s national team under the leadership of Hossam Hassan and his coaching staff, Orabi anticipated significant success in the team’s future endeavors.
