Ipswich Town, led by Egyptian international Sam Morsy and Iraqi player Ali Al-Hamadi, secured a remarkable 3-2 victory against Bristol City in the 36th round of the English Championship.

Morsy, the Egyptian star, played the full match, while Al-Hamadi joined the action in the 62nd minute, contributing significantly to Ipswich’s impressive comeback.

Under the guidance of 37-year-old Northern Irish manager Kieran McKenna, Ipswich Town secured their sixth consecutive league win, continuing their dominant streak in the Championship.

Bristol City, on the other hand, hoped to break their streak of consecutive defeats, having lost their last three matches.

The match witnessed an extraordinary second-half frenzy, with all goals scored after the break.

Bristol City opened the scoring with Anis Mehmeti finding the net in the 54th minute, assisted by Cameron Pring.

However, Ipswich Town swiftly responded, with Al-Hamadi leveling the score in the 62nd minute, courtesy of a delivery from Levi Davis.

Bristol City regained the lead in the 77th minute through Tommy Conway, assisted by Mark Sykes.

Undeterred, Ipswich equalized once again in the 80th minute, with Conor Chaplin converting a pass from Davis.

Al-Hamadi had an opportunity to seal the win for Ipswich with a penalty kick in the 86th minute, but Bristol City goalkeeper Max O’Leary denied his effort.

Nevertheless, Ipswich Town’s relentless pursuit paid off when Davis, with an assist from Jeremy Sarmiento, scored the winning goal in the 89th minute.

With this victory, Ipswich Town climbs to second place in the Championship table with 78 points, while Bristol City remains in 13th place with 44 points.
