The accomplished former manager of Hearts of Oak, is reportedly on the brink of a managerial comeback. Sources indicate that an agreement, though yet to be formally announced, has been reached for Boadu to take the reins at Berekum Chelsea for the remainder of the season.

Boadu, who stepped away from coaching in September 2022, has been identified as the prime candidate to fill the coaching vacuum left by Christophe Ennin at Berekum Chelsea.

Despite ongoing negotiations and final details pending, insiders suggest that an understanding between Boadu and the club is imminent, with formalization expected to occur within the week.

The 38-year-old tactician, whose impactful tenure with Hearts of Oak garnered significant success, is viewed as the top choice for Berekum Chelsea’s leadership role.

Boadu’s remarkable achievements at Hearts of Oak, including clinching a championship (2020-2021), two FA Cups (2021, 2022), and a Ghana Super Cup (2021), have elevated his standing within the coaching fraternity.

Berekum Chelsea, currently positioned at 6th place in the Ghana Premier League with 30 points from 19 matches, is eyeing Boadu to navigate the team towards a successful second half of the season.

The club’s management is optimistic that Boadu’s strategic acumen and coaching prowess will significantly impact the team’s performance.

As football enthusiasts await the official confirmation of Boadu’s appointment, the potential reunion of the highly-regarded coach with the sidelines is generating anticipation and excitement in Ghanaian football circles.
