Kara Mbodji has decided to extend his contract with Racing Genk, as announced by the Belgian club on its official website. The Senegalese international, who was initially signed until 2016, has now committed to stay with the club until 2018. Racing Genk emphasized the importance of this contract extension in their efforts to maintain a cohesive team. Despite interest from other clubs, the 24-year-old defender has chosen to continue his journey with Racing Genk. Kara Mbodji joined the club in January 2013 from Tromso, a Norwegian club where he began his professional career.
