The Barclays Premier League has revealed its Team of the Year for 2013. The selected players include representatives from Everton, Arsenal, and Manchester City, while only one player from Manchester United, Michael Carrick, made the cut. The chosen players are as follows:
- Goalkeeper: Tim Howard (Everton, USA)
- Defenders: Seamus Coleman (Everton, Ireland), Phil Jagielka (Everton, England), Per Mertesacker (Arsenal, Germany), Leighton Baines (Everton, England)
- Midfielders: Steven Gerrard (Liverpool, England), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal, Wales), Michael Carrick (Manchester United, England), Yaya Touré (Manchester City, Ivory Coast)
- Forwards: Sergio Agüero (Manchester City, Argentina), Luis Suárez (Liverpool, Uruguay)
Additionally, Arsène Wenger of Arsenal was named Coach of the Year.
