As of December 18, it was anticipated that Sambou Yatabaré would be making a return to Bastia during the winter transfer window. The Malian striker, seeking more playing time, is set to be loaned to the Corsican club for the next six months. This move comes after Yatabaré left Bastia last summer to join Olympiakos.
In Greece, Yatabaré has seen limited playing time, making only 5 appearances for a total of 137 minutes without any starts since the beginning of the season. His return to Bastia is expected to be a welcome addition for coach Frédéric Hantz, who values the player’s versatility and ability to cover various positions in the midfield.
