Sunday Mba has officially become a CA Bastia player, as confirmed by the club. The Nigerian international has signed an 18-month contract with the Corsican team, marking his return to professional football after a four-month hiatus.
Born in 1988 in Aba, Nigeria, Sunday Mba initially attended the Pepsi Football Academy. Before joining CA Bastia, he played for Warri Wolves. One of the highlights of Mba’s career was scoring the decisive goal that secured Nigeria’s victory over Burkina Faso in the final of the African Cup of Nations on February 10, 2013.
