In the wake of Simba SC’s commanding 6-0 triumph over Jwaneng Galaxy FC in the African Champions League on Saturday, coach Abdelhak Benchikha couldn’t contain his admiration for the stellar performance delivered by Zambian midfielder Clatous Chama. The post-match press conference saw Benchikha extolling Chama as a football genius.
Chama played a pivotal role in the resounding victory, showcasing his prowess with a goal and an assist, adding to Simba SC’s dominance on the 6th matchday of the prestigious African club competition.
Abdelhak Benchikha, the seasoned Algerian tactician, emphasized that Chama’s display in the match merely scratched the surface of his multifaceted talents.
“Chama is the most dangerous player in one-on-one situations. What he showed today is like magic, but it’s only a little of the many things he can do.
He has the ability and quality to show more than what he showed today. You have not seen Clatous Chama himself; he is like a Genius,” remarked Benchikha during the press conference.
Clatous Chama, at 32 years old, stands out as one of Simba SC’s standout performers this season.
