A wind of change is apparent at Yong Sport Academy in Bamenda, the recent winner of the Cameroon Football Cup. Signs suggest that the new head of the academy, Jacques Yong, is preparing to dismiss coach Emmanuel Ndoumbè Bosso. Jacques Yong, who assumed control after the death of his father Francis Yong on December 30, 2013, has reached out to another coach, Carl Enow Ngachu, the coach of the Cameroon women’s national team. While discussions are ongoing, there is uncertainty about Ndoumbè Bosso’s future, and the situation at the club appears complicated and unstable.
The head of marketing and communications at the club, Alain Nwaha, mentioned that the atmosphere has been tense, and wage arrears for Ndoumbè Bosso are a concern. The coach, however, remains in Bamenda, awaiting official communication. In the event of dismissal, Ndoumbè Bosso is expected to seek payment for his salary arrears, although this might be a challenging process.
