After Togo’s victory against Morocco (1-0) last Wednesday, as part of a FIFA international friendly, Togo coach Didier Six faced an unfortunate incident. The French coach was arrested by the police at Marrakech airport in Morocco. The reason behind his arrest was reportedly related to unpaid debts to the Société Nationale De Création Et De Gestion des Stades (SONARGES), amounting to around 70,000 euros.
Didier Six was held for a few hours by the police but was later released due to interventions from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and SONARGES. The company ultimately decided to withdraw its complaint against him.
