Henryk Kasperczak has officially signed a 15-month contract with the Malian Football Federation (Femafoot). The Polish coach, who previously led Mali to a 4th-place finish in the 2002 CAN, expressed his happiness and pride in returning to the country. His mission is to guide the national team to success in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). Kasperczak, who will receive a monthly salary of 14 million CFA francs, sees it as an interesting challenge given Mali’s quality players and the shared goal with Femafoot to win the tournament. He takes over from Patrice Carteron, who left for TP Mazembe in June 2014.
