Jean Luc Ruty, the director of the Sochaux training center in French Ligue 1, visited Dakar, Senegal, and commented on the situation facing Senegalese football. According to him, Senegalese football is not in crisis but lacks results. Ruty compared the situation to that of major football countries like France and Italy, emphasizing that they also went through difficult times.
He encouraged those responsible for Senegalese football to think deeply and find solutions to improve the sport. Despite Senegal’s recent defeat against Ivory Coast, Ruty highlighted that Ivory Coast is a great football nation on both continental and global levels.
Jean Luc Ruty visited Senegal to conduct talent detection tests in partnership with player agent and former international Amadou Ndiaye.
