Omar Daf, the Senegalese defender, has made his comeback to the Sochaux group after a long period of injury. He is included in the Sochaux list for the first time this season for the away game against Ajaccio. Omar Daf was recruited in the summer from Brest and had previously played for Sochaux from 1997 to 2009. He was a prominent figure during FCSM’s last promotion to Ligue 1 in 2001. With 60 caps for the Senegalese national team, the 35-year-old defender expresses his excellent physical condition and his strong connection to Sochaux, stating it’s his favorite club.
