Ivorian international Max-Alain Gradel is reportedly on the verge of making a move to the English second division club Leeds United. According to the BBC, the Saint-Etienne winger could return to his former club, and a potential loan deal is under consideration. Gradel, 26, previously played for Leeds from 2009 to 2011.
Having seen limited playing time in Ligue 1 this season, with only seven appearances, including two as a starter, Gradel is looking for more opportunities to showcase his talent ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The winger is also attracting interest from other English and German clubs. Gradel joined Saint-Etienne two years ago for a transfer fee of two million euros.
