Cameroon is actively working to strengthen its national football team for the upcoming World Cup, and a delegation of Cameroonian officials is currently in France for this purpose. The primary objective of this mission is to persuade specific dual-national players to join the Indomitable Lions, enhancing the team’s overall strength.
The delegation includes David N’Hanack Tonye (member of the Standardization Committee of the Federation), Eugène Patrick Ebode Tsanga (Legal Unit of Fécafoot), and Aoudou Mvotoung (Responsible for the security of the Indomitable Lions). Their mission is to engage with targeted players and encourage them to join the Lions’ squad starting from March, which aligns with the team’s next friendly match.
The four players primarily in focus are Paul-Georges Ntep de Madiba (AJ Auxerre), Samuel Umtiti (Olympique Lyonnais), Axel Ngando (AJ Auxerre), and Jean Christophe Bahebeck (Valenciennes). The effort underscores Cameroon’s determination to build a formidable team for the upcoming international competitions.
