Bakary Sagna, a member of the Arsenal squad that secured a victory over West Ham on Boxing Day (3-1), has reportedly turned down a contract extension with the club. His current contract is set to expire in June, and Arsenal offered him a two-year extension with a monthly salary of €333,000 gross, as reported by Daily Mirror. However, Sagna is said to have rejected this proposal.
There have been ongoing speculations linking Sagna to clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco, and a Turkish team. Additionally, a team from the Middle East, whose identity remains undisclosed, is reportedly interested in securing the services of the former Auxerre player.
