There have been reports circulating from Sport-Ivoire, indicating the arrest of the former president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), Jacques Anouma, by the police. However, Jacques Anouma has taken to his social media accounts to deny these reports, expressing amusement at the misinformation.
In his response, Jacques Anouma stated, “For several hours, information has been circulating on social networks and even taken up by a sports news site, according to which I was arrested by the police on December 24 after having taken a lane reserved for the bus.”
He continued, “I accept this mistake with a smile because I absolutely do not recognize myself in this fact, especially since I do not have a BMW, much less an X5, in my vehicles. If someone gave me one, tell me where to pick it up (laughs).”
