Cameroon Telecommunications (Camtel) has announced its support for the Cameroon professional football league, stepping in as a sponsor after MTN withdrew its sponsorship due to organizational shortcomings observed in the elite championships. Camtel’s general director, David Nkotto Emane, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting Cameroonian sport. Camtel has already started by sponsoring teams and promoting its partnership during the Cameroon Football Cup final. The league officials are urged to avoid the mistakes of the past and maintain a positive relationship with the new sponsor.
