Displaying his impressive skills on the right flank in Ligue 1, Brice DjaDjédjé of Evian Thonon-Gaillard showcased another dimension of his talent – scoring. In a recent league match against Nancy, a team in crisis, Djadjedje, known for his defensive prowess, demonstrated his scoring ability.
In a tightly contested match, Djadjedje took matters into his own hands before halftime. From 30 meters out, he unleashed a floating shot that found the back of the net under the bar, leaving Nancy’s Cameroonian goalkeeper, Guy Assembe, helpless (see video below). The Ivorian’s magnificent goal, however, was short-lived, as Nancy equalized just three minutes into the second half through Mollo, resulting in a final score of 1-1.
Despite the draw, Evian remains in 17th place in the league standings, while Nancy continues to struggle at the bottom.
