U20 WORLD CUP / ROUND OF 16: DISCOVER THE POSTERS OF THE AFRICAN REPRESENTATIVES

In the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup, African representatives Gambia, Tunisia, and Nigeria have learned their opponents following the conclusion of the group stage.

Undefeated, Gambia emerged as the leaders of Group F and is set to face Uruguay, who secured second place in Group E with six points, in the knockout phase.

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles secured passage to the round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams and face a formidable challenge against the hosts, Argentina.

Similarly, Tunisia, also qualifying as one of the best third-placed teams, will take on Group D leaders Brazil in La Plata in the round of 16.

The fixtures are as follows:

  • Brazil vs Tunisia – Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona, La Plata, May 31 at 5:30 p.m. GMT
  • Argentina vs Nigeria – Estadio San Juan del Bicentenario, San Juan, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. GMT
  • Gambia vs Uruguay – Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, Santiago del Estero, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. GMT

These matchups promise thrilling encounters as the teams vie for advancement in the tournament.
