Valenciennes defender Benjamin Angoua has been suspended for two matches by the LFP Disciplinary Commission for his involvement in an altercation with Nolan Roux during the derby against LOSC. The suspension will take effect on December 24, allowing Angoua to participate in Valenciennes’ match against Monaco on the opening day of the 19th round of Ligue 1. The Ivorian defender will also have to address the Commission for a violent gesture on Bordeaux’s Henri Saivet in a previous match.
