Renowned media personality Mohamed Shabana has unveiled the intention of Egypt’s Ahly club to formally extend the contract of their international defender Mohamed Abdel-Moneim in the upcoming period.
This move aims to retain the player and capitalize on his potential for future endeavors in external professional leagues.
Speaking on his program “Box to Box,” Shabana disclosed that Ahly’s management has earmarked EGP 15 million annually as part of the player’s salary package to secure an extension of his contract.
“There is a strong desire within Ahly to finalize the renewal of Mohamed Abdel-Moneim’s contract, with him set to receive EGP 15 million per season,” Shabana stated.
He further elaborated, “In the event of any delay or refusal by the player to sign the contracts, avenues for his professional engagement abroad will be explored in the upcoming summer.”
