In Togo, the second division (D2) football championship faces challenges in its organization. Initially proposed as a direct back-and-forth opposition between clubs in two groups, this formula was rejected by clubs in Group A. They demanded a classic championship similar to D1. After discussions between the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) and club managers, it seems they are moving towards an agreement. The classic formula is likely to be adopted, with clubs competing against each other, and the winners of each group advancing to the final. The champion of this final will qualify for promotion to the first division. The teams in Group A are yet to be determined, while those in Group B include Foukpa, AS Binah, Tigre Noir Cinkassé, Abou Ossé, Agouwa, Doumbé, Odalou, As Danpken, ASCK, Sara FC. The promotion scenario is yet to be confirmed.
