President Ridha Charfeddine has confirmed that Roger Lemerre will become the new coach of Etoile du Sahel, despite Lemerre’s earlier denial of any contact with Tunisian teams. The former coach of the French national team and Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles is set to replace Denis Lavagne at Etoile du Sahel. Although the negotiations are reportedly facing certain obstacles, Charfeddine stated that Lemerre is expected to finalize the terms of his contract with the club’s leaders in Sousse. Etoile du Sahel is undergoing a crisis of results, coupled with financial and management difficulties, prompting the potential change in coaching staff.
