Hamad Ibrahim, the general coach of Ismaïlia’s first football team, expressed his satisfaction with the players’ performance despite the team losing two points in a goalless draw against El Gouna.
The goalless draw settled the match between El Gouna and Ismaïlia, held today, Monday, as part of the 14th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
In statements to his club’s official website after the match, he said: “Our goal was to secure three points, and we had more than one opportunity to win the match, but luck was not on our side.”
He added, “Hesham Mohamed, the midfielder, delivered an outstanding performance and will show even better form in the upcoming matches.
All the players had a good game and exerted maximum effort throughout the ninety minutes.”
“We aim to achieve victories to improve the team’s position in the championship standings,” he continued.
He concluded his statements by saying, “The team is noticeably improving from one match to another, and our goal is to please the fans by returning the team to its natural state.”
