Senegal is sending a team of nine fighters (6 boys and 3 girls) to participate in the 20th World Karate Championships in Paris from November 21 to 25, 2012. The team, consisting of both local and expatriate fighters, aims to represent Senegal and compete for medals in the prestigious event. The fighters have had a few days of preparation at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium before heading to Paris for the championships.
