Another tragic incident occurred at the construction site for the 2014 World Cup, this time at the Arena de Amazonia stadium in Manaus. A 22-year-old worker lost his life after falling from the roof of the stadium, which was more than 35 meters high. This unfortunate event adds to previous accidents in World Cup construction sites, including three deaths in Sao Paulo on November 27 and a fatal fall in the same Manaus stadium construction site in March.
