Guy Gnabouyou, the Franco-Ivorian striker, is bidding farewell to Finland as he makes a move to Greece. As reported by L’Equipe, the player, currently with Inter Turku, has inked a two-year deal with Kallonis, the current tenth-ranked team in the Greek Championship. The Ivorian, who honed his skills at OM (Olympique de Marseille), spent two and a half seasons in Finland, tallying 12 goals in 58 matches for Inter Turku.
Renowned for his decisive goal against PSG in the 2010 Champions Trophy, which Marseille emerged victorious in, Gnabouyou initially secured his first professional contract with Marseille lasting three years (until 2011) on May 30, 2008. Following a stint at Orléans and Paris FC, the former Marseille player found his footing at FC Inter Turku, a Finnish club situated far from the Mediterranean sun.
