Mustapha Chadli, the former goalkeeper coach for the Moroccan national football team during the era of the Bosnian Vahid Halilhodzic, emphasized that Moroccan football is embarking on a new phase, considering the major events the kingdom will host in the coming years.
Speaking exclusively to Hesport, Chadli stated, “Morocco has begun a new football phase because organizing events of the magnitude of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the joint 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal requires addressing several major issues.”
He added, “All parties must contribute to this development that the Kingdom of Morocco is striving for.
The Moroccan Professional Football League also needs to keep pace with this development because it is the face of the kingdom in football.”
Chadli, a former Raja Casablanca goalkeeper and one of the most prominent figures in the team’s history, continued, “Therefore, I say everyone must contribute from their side, and we know that Morocco is a football country that has produced great players.
We aim to achieve significant football accomplishments from organizing these events in our country.”
He concluded, “I wish success to the national teams in all the events, and I hope Moroccan clubs regain their continental strength, so we can return to the forefront strongly and continue our work in training workshops at the highest level.”
