The youth football team of Al-Ahly Club, “Ahly 2003,” is set to clash with their visitors, Al-Ittihad, today, Sunday, at the Ahly Club Stadium in Nasr City.
This match is part of the third round of the final stage of the Republic Youth League, as both teams vie for the coveted title.
Ahly 2003 enters the game at the top of the league standings with an impressive 48 points.
They have dominated the league, scoring 45 goals while conceding only 19.
The teams that secured the top ten positions in the initial stage of the Republic Youth League qualified for the final stage.
These teams include Al-Ahly, Enppi, Ceramica Cleopatra, Al Mokawloon Al Arab, Petrojet, Zamalek, Pyramids FC, Al Masry, Al Ittihad, and El Sharkia.
Each team enters the final stage with the same number of points and ranking as they had in the initial stage.
The coaching staff of Ahly 2003 is led by Ahmed Abdel Zaher as the head coach, Ahmed Jalal as the general coach, Khalid Osman as the goalkeeper coach, Mohamed Rashid as the team manager, Alaa Mamoun as the team doctor, Omar Shaarawi as the physical conditioning and preparation planner, and Abdelhamid Hussein as the massage specialist.
